Department Profile

The Department of Computer Science at Scott Christian College is a unique hub in the field of advanced learning. The Under Graduate Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1997 with a sanctioned intake of 25 seats and three staff. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science. The Department has well-experienced and dedicated faculty members The Department moulds young outstanding professionals who are academically strong and competent enough to achieve their dreams. Our motto is giving education to rural students. The programme focuses on Computers which have permeated into every sphere of life. The Course enables the students to prosper in analysis, designing, construction and testing of advanced software applications. Our students are exposed to up-to-date curriculum, technology and techniques. The Department Association has been conducting various levels of events like inter-college competitions, workshops, state level symposium, Quiz program, etc. The Department library has latest books. They are very helpful to facilitate student’s innovative thoughts.
