About Us
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Scott Christian College was established on 26 May 2000 during the first cycle of Accreditation. IQAC plays a pivotal role in internalizing and institutionalizing the qualities towards academic excellence in campus and has become an integral part of towards achieving the goals of the College. IQAC has developed an innovative method of Management Information System for a consistent and catalytic developent of the college, evolved mechanisms and procedures for ensuring that the objectives of the IQAC as envisaged by NAAC.
IQAC strives for all quality-related activities by creating an inclusive environment with the participation of all faculty and non-faculty members of the college. IQAC strategically collect data periodically through digital communication for proper documentation. It works to enhance and integrate the various activities of the College and to ensure the adoption and dissemination of good practices. IQAC also spearheads the conduct of the internal and external Academic Audit of the departments, which promotes quality, accountability and transparency. The IQAC coordinates the process of developing curriculum implementing Outcome-based Education in tune with the regional, national and international demands. IQAC regularly collects feedback on curriculum from all the stakeholders and analyze it for necessary action.

- Feedback on curriculum from students, teachers, parents, alumni and employers.
- Dissemination of the information on various quality parameters of the institution
- Organizing seminars and workshops on quality related initiatives.
- Establishing a digital system of documentation and management information.
- Conducting Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) of departments to promote quality, accountability and transparency.
- Submitting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines of NAAC.
- Establishing inter- institutional link to facilitate resource sharing and promotion of research.
