The Scott Adventure Club, affiliated to National Adventure Foundation, was started in this college in 1995.
The aim of the club is to expose the youth to nature, hardships and hazards, build their personality, character, confidence and courage through adventure programmes.
Opportunities are open to students to attend trekking, rock climbing and mountaineering courses, cross country cycling, water skiing, sailing, scuba diving, ballooning, hand gliding, power gliding, para-sailing and paragliding. Since bulk of the finances for the programmes are provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC). All the above programmes are heavily subsidised so as to enable the student community avail themselves of these opportunities. Membership is open to all students.
