SRF

Scott Research Forum was launched by Dr. E. James R. Daniel in September 2003 while he was serving as the Principal of this college. Every year, in the month of February/March, it organises a Multi-Disciplinary All India Conference. The All India Conference is basically devoted to research pursuits for College/University teachers, doctoral and pre-doctoral scholars. The Scott Research Forum helps in bringing together budding research scholars of various fields to reach the unreached.

The Forum also caters to the needs of the pre-doctoral and doctoral scholars by organizing such programmes to establish contacts with research institutes and intellects. So far nine all India conferences and one International Conference have been organised.

The first Multi-Disciplinary National Seminar was held on 24 September, 2004. Dr. E. James R. Daniel, Principal, was the Convener and Dr. M. Robert Singh, Vice Principal, was the Co-convener. The Co-ordinators were Dr. X. Antony Thanaraj, Department of Commerce and Dr. A. Moses Ezhil Raj, Department of Physics.

The second Multi-Disciplinary National Seminar was held in the month of September 2005. Dr. E. James R. Daniel, Principal, was the Convener and Dr. X. Antony Thanaraj, Department of Commerce, was the organising secretary.The Third All India Conference was held on 4 March, 2006. Dr. E. James R. Daniel, Principal, was the Convener.Third Multi-Disciplinary National Seminar was held on 14 August, 2006. Dr. E. James R. Daniel, Principal, was the Convener.The fourth Multi-Disciplinary National Seminar was held on 14 August, 2007. Dr. E. James R. Daniel, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. S. Sam Manohar Dhas, Department of Zoology, was the Co-ordinator and Dr. A. Moses Ezhil Raj, Department of Physics, was the Organising Secretary.The fourth All India Conference was held on 13 April, 2007. Dr. E. James R. Daniel, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. S. Sam Manohar Dhas, Department of Zoology, was the Co-ordinator, Dr. E. Stanley Bai, Department of Tamil, was the Convener and Dr. N. Sam Raj, Department of History, was the Organising Secretary.

The Fifth Multi-Disciplinary National Seminar was held on 22 August, 2008. Dr. S. Chellakumar Rose, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. S. Sam Manohar Dhas, Department of Zoology, was the Co-ordinator and Dr. X. Antony Thanaraj, Department of Commerce, was the Organising Secretary.

The Sixth All India Conference was held in March 2009. Dr. S. Chellakumar Rose, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. S. Sam Manohar Dhas, Department of Zoology, was the Co-ordinator and Dr. A. Moses Ezhil Raj, Department of Physics, was the Organising Secretary.The Seventh All India Conference was held on 13 March, 2010. Dr. S. Chellakumar Rose, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. S. Sam Manohar Dhas, Department of Zoology, was the Organising Secretary and Dr. A. Moses Ezhil Raj, Department of Physics, was the Convener.The Eighth All India Conference was held on 2 April, 2011. Dr. S. Chellakumar Rose, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. S. Sam Manohar Dhas, Department of Zoology, was the Organising Secretary and Dr. A. Moses Ezhil Raj, Department of Physics, was the Convener.The Ninth All India Conference to be held on 21 January was postponed to 10 February 2017. Dr. M. Edwin Gnana Dhas, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. A. Moses Ezhil Raj, Department of Physics, was the Adviser and Dr. A. Malar Retna, Department of Chemistry, was the Organising Secretary.The Tenth All India Conference (Multidisciplinary) was held on 28 and 29 February, 2020. Dr. J.R.V. Edward, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. A.E. Dulip Daniels, Head, Department of Botany & Research Centre, and the Dean of Research was the Convener. Dr. A. Malar Retna, Department of Chemistry, was the Organising Secretary.

The Eleventh All India Conference (Multidisciplinary) was held on 26 and 27 February, 2021. Dr. J.R.V. Edward, Principal, was the Chairman. Dr. A.E. Dulip Daniels, Head, Department of Botany & Research Centre, and the Dean of Research was the Convener. Dr. A. Malar Retna, Department of Chemistry, was the Organising Secretary.
